Terms and Conditions
The German Terms and Conditions are legally binding. This English translation is provided for convenience. Last updated: 4 August 2026.
1. Scope and contracting parties
These Terms and Conditions apply to appointment bookings, consultations and treatment agreements between Aestus Berlin Medical UG i.G., Hertzstr. 20, 13158 Berlin, represented by Tip Dr. (Univ. Istanbul) Ada Defne Kahraman (hereinafter the “Practice”), and its patients. They apply to arrangements made via the website, by telephone, by email or in person. Any differing terms become effective only if the Practice expressly agrees to them in text form.
2. Appointment booking and treatment agreement
The presentation of services and prices is non-binding and does not constitute a binding offer. An appointment becomes binding only when confirmed by the Practice. The medical treatment agreement is concluded only after an in-person medical consultation, assessment of the medical requirements, informed consent and a written fee agreement at the Practice. Agreements are concluded only with adult consumers.
3. Cancellation, rescheduling and cancellation fees
Confirmed appointments are reserved exclusively for the patient. An appointment may be cancelled or rescheduled free of charge at least 24 hours before it is due to begin. A flat cancellation fee of €50.00 is payable for a later cancellation or rescheduling. For an unexcused failure to attend, the cancellation fee is 50% of the anticipated price of the booked treatment. The patient retains the right to demonstrate that no loss, or a substantially lower loss, was incurred.
The cancellation fee is waived retrospectively if the missed or late-cancelled appointment is completed within four weeks of its originally scheduled date. If the Practice must cancel or reschedule an appointment for good cause, it will offer a replacement appointment promptly. Further claims exist only in cases of intent or gross negligence on the part of the Practice.
4. Prices, billing and payment
All patients are self-paying. Medical services are generally billed in accordance with the German Medical Fee Schedule (GOÄ). VAT is charged where required by law. The invoice amount is due immediately after treatment. Cash and commonly accepted card payments are accepted. Instalment payments, financing and deposits are not offered.
A separately charged, stand-alone consultation is credited against a subsequent treatment if that treatment takes place within eight weeks of the consultation. The fee cannot be credited after that period.
5. Treatment packages and vouchers
For prepaid treatment packages, the patient is responsible for booking and attending follow-up sessions in good time. Sessions not attended within twelve months of the first treatment expire where the delay is attributable to the patient. If a package is ended early, sessions already used are charged at the regular individual price; any remaining credit is issued as a personal voucher and is not paid out in cash.
Vouchers are personal, non-transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash. A package session may be rescheduled free of charge once if the cancellation deadline is observed; if the same session is rescheduled again, it expires.
6. Patient cooperation and aftercare
Patients must provide complete and accurate information about pre-existing conditions, allergies, medication, pregnancy or breastfeeding and previous treatments. Medical instructions and pre- and post-treatment guidance must be followed. Incomplete information or failure to follow guidance may affect treatment safety and the outcome.
7. Treatment outcomes and liability
Aesthetic and medical treatment outcomes depend on individual factors. No particular subjective result or complete absence of wrinkles is owed. The medically required explanation and consent take place before every treatment; where relevant, off-label use is explained separately.
The Practice has unlimited liability for damage arising from injury to life, limb or health. In all other respects, it is liable for intent and gross negligence and, in the event of a breach of material contractual obligations, also for ordinary negligence, in which case liability is limited to the foreseeable loss typical for the agreement. Statutory liability remains unaffected.
8. Documentation and images
Before-and-after images may be created for medical documentation and monitoring and stored in the patient record. Images are published or used for advertising only on the basis of separate, voluntary consent.
9. Follow-up treatments
There is no entitlement to free aesthetic corrections or adjustments. Medically necessary measures and requested touch-ups are provided at the physician’s discretion and may be chargeable. Voluntary services provided in an individual case do not create an entitlement to such services in the future.
10. Final provisions
German law applies. The Practice is neither willing nor obliged to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer conciliation body. If any provision is or becomes invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions is unaffected; the statutory provisions apply in its place.
